    Dr Popat graduated from Guy’s and St. Thomas’s Hospitals and completed haematology training at St. Bartholomew’s Hospital. He completed a PhD in novel drug development for multiple myeloma and was awarded a fellowship to attend the Dana Farber Cancer Institute, Boston as part of this.
