The early clinical development of new treatments for those with haematological cancers. He leads the phase 1 clinical trials program at UCLH and is the UK lead investigator for a number of early phase trials.
Dr Popat graduated from Guy’s and St. Thomas’s Hospitals and completed haematology training at St. Bartholomew’s Hospital. He completed a PhD in novel drug development for multiple myeloma and was awarded a fellowship to attend the Dana Farber Cancer Institute, Boston as part of this.
